Allows the mains to a fire alarm control panel to be switched on or off as per the requirements of BS5839-1.
Available in red or white with or without an LED Indicator (surface or flush).
Third-party tested to the relevant insulation and isolation requirements of IEC/EN 60669.
Double pole.
Fitted with a 5A Fuse.
Supplied with a special key that is only available to the responsible person.
Able to be wired with 1 x 2.5mm2 cable or 2 x 1.5mm2 cable to ensure only independent sole main supplies are used to the fire panel as per BS5839-1 requirements.
The back box supplied with surface versions coupled with the isolator mechanism’s very low-profile design allows plenty of space for fire rated cable and surface glanding (see image).
Can be labelled for use with an Evacuation Alert or Emergency Voice Communication Systems (EVCS) using a BF326/LABEL.
