The Person and the Role
We are looking for full-time Production Operatives to assist in the manufacture of life safety systems such as fire alarms, nurse call and disabled refuge systems.
Working between the hours of 08:00 – 16:30, Monday – Friday, you will be an active member of our production team. Working to deadlines, you will assemble components onto printed circuit boards, perform routine tests and assemble products in accordance with our standard operating procedures, the production schedule, and the Quality Management System. As well as working in Production, there will also be times when you will help cover our Warehouse area.
To be successful in this role, you will be hard working, motivated, able to work in a team, as well as on your own. We are particularly looking for people who have good organisational skills and a keen eye for detail who demand high standards and want to learn and progress through our business.
This role comes with the opportunity to progress to various senior positions within our manufacturing department, as well as many other exciting career development routes through our organisation. C-TEC has a proud history of promoting from within, with many senior managers and members of staff in our Technical, Engineering and Sales departments having started on the shop floor.
Located in the heart of the North-West, our state-of-the-art Challenge Way manufacturing facility in Wigan is a truly spectacular building with spacious office space, high-tech production areas and extensive free parking.
