Performs enhanced loop integrity checks on a CAST ZFP addressable fire alarm loop in accordance with the requirements of EN54-13:2005 (the European standard for the compatibility and connectivity of components within a fire detection and alarm system).
ANPI certified to EN54-18: 2005.
EN54-13 & NTN 179L: 2021 certified by Belgian certification body BOSEC.
Facilitates the flagging of creeping loop faults.
Designed to be fitted at ‘End B’ of a ZFP CAST addressable loop so it can measure the series resistance of the field loop including device resistances.
The device’s resistance trigger setting is user configurable via an on-board DIP switch from 5–75 ohm in 5 ohm steps.
When the resistance trigger setting is breached, the module will send a loop resistance fault message to the CIE.
Requires one CAST address and is designed to sit on standard single gang UK 25mm back box (must be fitted outside of the ZFP’s enclosure).
